Jewish Long Island - Jewish Learning Initiative

Our weekly Kabbalah Class is going strong after 5 years of deep classes and meaningful discussions.  Kabbalah is the esoteric dimension of the Torah.  It is inner Jewish wisdom that informs our modern lives in a positive way. Each class is unique, and taken from authentic texts from the mystical masters - ancient and contemporary. Consider this your weekly hour of deep spirituality, that will give you inspiration that builds over the course of a lifetime.

Women's Circle

Every month the ladies of MiYaD get together and have an evening to remember.  Women like you develop the program or just attend and see what Aliza has in store this month. She always has something hands-on, inspirational, creative or moving.  Rosh Chodesh is the 'New Month' on the Jewish calendar, our Sages tell us that it is a special day for women.  Always followed by refreshments and a good schmooze.

Join us for this month's Women's Circle by emailing Aliza Krivisky: aliza@miyad.org.

All are welcome.

Study Torah in your office, home or on the phone with the Rabbi or Aliza.

If you would like to learn more about your heritage, faith and history, you should set aside time for educational Torah study. The Rebbe teaches that the word Torah means direction and illumination.  Illuminate your life with the in-depth knowledge, insight and understanding of Judaism.

If you can't make it to one of our classes, we'll bring the class to you. Simply tell us what you'd like to study, when your available, and we'll have Rabbi or Aliza visit you to pursue the Jewish subject of your choice. Whether it's Aleph-Bet, Talmud, the weekly Torah Portion, Jewish Law or Kabbalah - you name it and we'll make arrangements to have it taught in your office, home or on the phone.

Mitzvah means a connection.
Isn't it time you get connected?

ps. We love to do 'lunch & learn'!
